Trainee Funeral Director

Dignity Funerals is seeking a Trainee Funeral Director for our Birmingham branch. This structured training programme will develop you into a fully qualified Funeral Director.

Your training programme:

• Shadow experienced funeral directors to learn all aspects of the role
• Study towards the NAFD Diploma in Funeral Directing (fully funded)
• Progressively take on more responsibility as you develop
• Learn arrangement, conducting, and leadership skills
• Attend residential training courses

You'll start as a Funeral Operative and progress through to qualified Funeral Director over 18-24 months.

• Ambitious and committed to a long-term career in funeral services
• Previous customer-facing experience
• Full UK driving licence
• Physically fit
• Emotionally resilient and compassionate
• GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent)
