Trainee Embalmer

A busy independent funeral home in Cambridge is offering a rare opportunity for a Trainee Embalmer. We will sponsor your BIE Diploma studies while you gain hands-on experience under the supervision of our senior embalmer.

What you'll learn:

• Embalming theory and practice
• Hygienic treatment and reconstruction techniques
• Health and safety in the mortuary environment
• Working with bereaved families
• Professional standards and ethics

Requirements:

• Science background (A-level biology or equivalent) preferred
• Strong interest in a career in embalming
• Full UK driving licence
• Physically fit and able to lift
• Mature outlook and emotional resilience

We will cover BIE course fees and provide paid study leave.
