Senior Funeral Director

We are seeking a Senior Funeral Director to lead our Newcastle branch. This is a senior role with responsibility for managing the funeral home, supervising staff, and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Full management of the funeral home and its team
• Conducting complex and high-profile funerals
• Mentoring and developing junior funeral directors and operatives
• Building and maintaining relationships with local community partners
• Ensuring regulatory compliance and best practice
• Managing budgets and operational efficiency

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Funeral Director
• NAFD or BIFD Diploma in Funeral Directing
• Proven leadership and team management experience
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Full clean driving licence
• Available for on-call duties
