Funeral Operative

Funeral Partners is recruiting a Funeral Operative for our Exeter branch. You will work alongside experienced funeral directors to ensure every funeral is carried out to the highest standards.

Your role includes:

• First-call removals from hospitals, homes, and care settings
• Preparing the deceased for viewing and services
• Driving hearses and other funeral vehicles
• Acting as coffin bearer at services
• Maintaining the mortuary, vehicles, and grounds
• Assisting with any other duties to support the team

Requirements:

• Full driving licence (manual)
• Good physical health
• Smart appearance and professional demeanour
• Willingness to learn and develop
• Available for flexible working including weekends
