Funeral Operative

Dignity Funerals requires a Funeral Operative for our Coventry branch. This is an essential frontline role ensuring deceased persons are cared for with the utmost dignity and that funeral services run seamlessly.

Key responsibilities:

• Transfer of the deceased from place of death to the funeral home
• Caring for the deceased including washing and dressing
• Driving hearses, limousines, and removal vehicles
• Acting as a bearer during funeral services
• Maintaining cleanliness and order within the mortuary and funeral home
• Assisting with administrative duties as needed

Essential criteria:

• Full UK driving licence
• Good level of physical fitness
• Professional, empathetic, and discreet
• Willing to work flexible hours
• Team player with a positive attitude
