Embalmer

Dignity Funerals is seeking an Embalmer for our Sunderland hub. This role supports multiple Dignity branches across the North East, providing specialist care and preparation services.

Key duties:

• Embalming and presenting the deceased to Dignity's exacting standards
• Cosmetic reconstruction and restoration
• Travelling between branches in the North East region
• Collaborating with local funeral directors
• Mentoring trainee embalmers

Requirements:

• BIE qualified Embalmer with current membership
• Minimum 3 years' experience
• Full driving licence
• Willing to work flexibly across the region
• Strong stomach and emotional resilience
