Embalmer

Funeral Partners is seeking a qualified Embalmer for our Oxford location. You will provide specialist embalming services to ensure the deceased are presented with the highest standard of care.

Responsibilities:

• Performing embalming procedures to British Institute of Embalmers (BIE) standards
• Preparing the deceased for viewing, including cosmetic restoration
• Working with funeral directors to understand families' wishes
• Maintaining the mortuary and embalming room to strict hygiene standards
• Keeping accurate records of all procedures
• Ordering and managing chemical supplies

Requirements:

• BIE Diploma in Embalming or equivalent qualification
• Current BIE membership
• Full UK driving licence
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Compassionate and discreet
