Crematorium Technician

Dignity Funerals is looking for a Crematorium Technician for our Kent crematorium. You will be responsible for ensuring the dignified handling and cremation of the deceased.

Your role:

• Cremation operations and equipment monitoring
• Receiving the deceased and verifying identity
• Processing cremated remains
• Daily equipment checks and maintenance reporting
• Record-keeping and regulatory compliance
• Supporting families visiting the crematorium

Essential:

• Technically competent — mechanical/engineering background helpful
• Physically fit
• Respectful, discrete, and empathetic
• Team player
• Willing to work towards FBCA/ICCM qualification

Desirable:

• Previous crematorium experience
• Knowledge of environmental regulations
