Crematorium Operator

Memoria Ltd is seeking a Crematorium Operator for our South Wales crematorium. Memoria operates modern cremation and memorial facilities across the UK.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out cremations in accordance with regulations and best practice
• Operating and maintaining cremation equipment
• Receiving the deceased and verifying paperwork
• Preparing cremated remains for families
• Grounds maintenance and chapel preparation
• Greeting families and funeral directors on site

About you:

• Technically minded with good mechanical aptitude
• Comfortable in a physically demanding role
• Respectful and empathetic manner
• Good written and verbal communication
• Previous experience in a technical or facilities role is advantageous
